Xenogender, transgender, gender uid, non-binary… Many humans no longer identify with the male-female dichotomy. Though aesthetic medicine requests from men tend to focus on masculinising the features, there are many other people who want their face and body to represent their own vision, which oscillates between masculinity and femininity. The non-binary movement, for which the pronoun “they” has become the symbol, challenges all stereotypes. Adjusting a patient’s face so that it re ects their true emotions has become a regular request heard by doctors. Solutions for transgender patients have existed for a long time, whether it be hormones, surgery or injections.
